Day 61 18/08/2013 Mt Augustus NP to Cue (via Meekatharra). This morning we drove 4km to a lookout, to watch the sunrise and photograph Mt Augustus. Day 60 17/08/2013 Mt Augustus NP.It was a clear and crisp morning and we were up early. Mt Augustus has a 49km loop road around its base, with access from this road to various walking trails. In addition to some short trails.....ranging from 20 minutes to 2 hours in length...there is a 5 hour return walk to the summit. Day 59 16/08/2013 Kennedy Range NP to Mt Augustus NP.We enjoyed a lovely sunrise, and, even though it was a 'moving on' day, a cooked breakfast! Day 58 15/08/2013 Carnarvon to Kennedy Range NP.Fortunately we had no rain overnight, but it was a cool, overcast start to the day. The brake light problem has returned.....we will have to try to get it sorted out before we are back in civilisation! On outback roads with a cloud of dust behind us, no-one can see the brake lights anyway, and fortunately even on sealed roads in this region there is still not much traffic!
