Day 28 16/06/2013 Broome.
This morning we spent an hour or so after breakfast doing some sorting and re-arranging and packing a suitcase! Then we headed off into town, to the Courthouse Markets....held every Sat and Sun mornings in the season. We had a coffee there and enjoyed browsing the stalls.
Then it was back to Cable Beach, where we had a lovely swim. The sea was calm and flat. Back to our campground for lunch. We did intend to go for a drive, but we changed our minds and decided to head for the beach again! This time we rented beach chairs, an umbrella and a boogie board. The tide was on the turn and there were a few small waves, suitable for me to have a great time on the board, while Dave body surfed. After a couple of hours it was back to camp for a shower, afternoon tea and reading or blog writing!
We went out for dinner to a local bar and enjoyed Tapas, (Aussie style!), and live music.
This will be my last blog for two and a half weeks. Tomorrow we put our gear in storage and fly to Darwin, where we will meet up with all the family for a very special wedding on Saturday! Then we are off to Melbourne to be 'in loco parentis' to three of our beautiful grandchildren for a week.
