This morning we started our drive to Nelson, there wasnt a rush like yesterday so the drive was easier and less crazy! We stopped in a really nice town called kaikoura to have lunch and take a look around. It is meant to be good for whale watching here, however we didnt see any from our camper! We then continued our drive, back past all the seals and headed west to nelson.

We arrived here late afternoon, Nelson is supposedly a city but only has a few more shops than Thame/Rothwell, lol. After taking a nice walk around here, we went in search of a campsite for the night. The first one we went to was a 10 mintue drive out of the city down a random road, when we pulled up it looked like some scene from a murder, lol, so we turned round and left quickly! We ended up driving 5 mintues south of the city and stayed at a much nicer park.

The majority of NZ is valleys, moutains, cliffs etc etc, then there are lots of tiny towns with barely anything there, it is really random in alot of places!
