Bula! Fiji is amazing, pure paradise! This morning we got a catamaran from Nadi to our first island Waya Lailai.When we got near the island we had to get in a much smaller boat which comes out to get you. Arriving on the island we were greeted by the locals singing a welcome song. Once off the boat we were welcomed to the island and shown around. 23rd July 2009 We drove about 3 hours towards Akaroa this morning. It is about 75k east of Christchurch. In our lonely planet book we found a free campsite on the beach where we thought we could have a fire for the night in Okains Bay, about 20k from Akaroa, so we planned to head that way. 21st July 2009 Before we left Queenstown this morning we booked and payed for our fiji combo package which includes all accomodation food and transport!! We then drove towards Dunedin, but after only driving for half hour the wind was so strong and blowing our car all over the road we pulled over for an hour and had lunch.
