We left Nelson this morning and drove around 2 hours to Buller Gorge, it is just off the highway and is a rainforest with various walks. To get over to the rainforest you have to walk along the longest swingbridge in New Zealand. I went to walk over first but Mike decided to jump up and down to make it swing loads, which considering it was high up over a river i didnt like, lol, so went back and made Mike walk over first.
Once over we followed the first walking track, then Mike decided to take us on the walk which was more like a small trek in the middle of rainforest and woods, where tree branches smacked you in the face every so often! Along the way were a really old and rusty tractor and truck so we stopped here to take some stupid pictures. After here we headed back over the swingbridge and got back in Trev to carry on driving to Westport.
Once we arrived here most shops were closed as it was Saturday and they all shut by 12pm. So we took a drive around, Westport is a small town with quite a few shops and not much else! It was early evening so we found a campsite for the night, did a foodshop and chilled in Trev with beers and wine again!

This morning we drove back into Westport Centre and parked up as we needed to get something to clean a pan with as I managed to burn it nicely from cooking dinner last night! We also needed some superglue as I (Amy, suprisingly not Mike!) managed to pull and break one of our cupboard doors! Mike also bought a very unsexy but practical jacket for a bargain of about 10 pounds!! He is such a girl shopping out here, trying to find clothes which actually look nice! There is like one clothes shop which is in every little place we stop in and its like Englands BHS but worse! From here we stopped in Punakaiki!
