Emma's Travels
Yesterday we travelled north for not much more than an hour to get to Surfers Paradise. On the way we went through Creed, which is where the New South Wales/Queensland border is so I have officially had one foot in each state. When we arrived in Surfers Paradise we went to Wonderland, one of the 4 themeparks along the coast. They also had an animal section where we got to pet kangaroos and I cuddled a koala!
Unfortunately the weather is a bit miserable today as we were going to go to the water park as well. Instead having a quiet day before heading to Brisbane tomorrow morning. It's only an hour away so if the sun comes out we could get the bus to the waterpark from there If we have time!

Mandy Hi Emma, Your Mum emailed me a link to your blog so I have just caught up with what you've been up to on your travels. I'm glad you are having fun, it must have been great to see the turtles, and cuddle the koalas. I'm watching TV with Sybil (the cat) on my lap - she's trying to be as cute as a koala. I hope you are having a great time. Love Mandy x x
Emma Hi Mandy, good to hear from you. I hope you and steve are well. It certainly was a great experience to cuddle a koala, they are very cute! Nan and grandad, I'm glad your having a nice time. Say hi to Sylvia and Tony for me. I'm now in Brisbane, was pouring with rain yesterday and just woken up to find it is currently not raining so fingers crossed we can actually get out today! Xxx
Catherine Great pics, You are now in the best state but I can only apologise for the QLD weather is supposed to be the dry season, average of 2 days rainfall in Townsville for September, we have broken all records for rain fall here & is hot humid & wet, what you should be getting is clear sunny days and blue skies. Looks like you are having a great time, how are you going with the Mozzies in QLD?
Emma I'm not sure I want to hear that Catherine! It is what I was expecting but I was beginning to accept that I was wrong! You certainly could of tried to organise me better weather! Maybe the wet season will be delayed!!!?? I'm ever hopeful! Xxx
