Went to the Sky Tower today as although it is still raining here, by lunchtime it had cleared up a bit and the fog had lifted.

The skytower is the tallest in the S. hemisphere and I got to go right to the top as I had a voucher from the hostel.

The elavators go up the outside of the building as well meaning you can see out as you are going up. I could feel my ears popping with the pressure!

There were really great views and you could see all of the local islands and the harbour bridge. Watched a girl ddo a bungy jump off the tower which was a bit scary, don't think I will be trying that!

I took loads of photos and when I get to a hostel that will let me upload them I will.

Went down to the bar in the hostel in the evening as they have something called 'power hour' which is as much as you can drink of wine and beer for FREE!! Really good night and met loads of people.
