After a lot of driving in the morning, after the sheep show, we arrived in a small village called Waitomo.

A lot of people went off black water rafting but sitting in a rubber ring in the dark for 3 hours didnt really do it for me so I went with Heidi and Martina to the walking exhibition through the limestone caves.

Fantastic tour and really amazing caves with all of the stalactites and stalagmites. I think the best part had to be the glow worms though! We all clambered into this little baot and headed off in the pitch black. We rounded a corner and suddenly the deiling was lit up by them, there were literally thousands (Dad you would have loved it)! Really sureal and very peaceful as only the sound of running water echoing through the caves.

Came back to the hostel and chilled out as it has been a bit full on for the last few days, doesnt really feel like I am on holiday at all!

We all clubbed together in the evening and cooked a massive stew which was really good. Had an early night as this has been the first nice hostel in a while!
