Day 13/28 Villafranca - Vega de Valcarce

A fairly easy walk today. 17k but mainly along a local road on one side and to Mike’s delight a good flowing stream on the other side. We stopped frequently to try and spot trout but didn’t see any. We passed through quite a few villages and ended in Vega de Valcarce.

We are entering our third week on Camino, for this trip. It’s a looong walk, we aren’t running on the “high” of the novelty anymore!! We are contemplating the 700m climb tomorrow, crap weather forecast and 150km to Santiago. Is it worth it. We think so....
