still in Barranco i think we´re gonna stay until weds/thurs

man its hot..boiling infact, lauras got burnt yesterday so i made her buy some high factor suncream yesterday...tut what a muppet haha!

yeh so we went to miraflores today, to a part called...erm Larcomar or something along those lines lol! we walked all along a coastal path that had the sparkling blue sea on the left hand side below the cliffs with gardens; flowers and trees, and then huge, posh, modern, swanky apartments on the right! and as we got to Larcomar there was a huuuuge marriott hotel with blue mirrored windows and then below that was Larcomar itself. its hard to descride what its like, just a plaza kinda thing...oh i know its a bit like Cardiff Bay with different layers of shops and restaurants and stuff! it was really nice and everywhere is sooo so clean! The only problem we encountered was that i needed the toilet lol, need the toilet REALLY bad...and it was closed...ARGH nightmare lol, so we spent about 20mins trying to find another one and EVENTUALLY found one in the games arcade but to my dismay..it was locked!!! but i found a man and by me pointing at the toilet door, i think he figured they need to be opened haha!

it actually occurred to me that where we´re staying in Barranco, its very local and traditional compared to Miraflores, which is full of tourists, RICH tourists, high rise apartments and lush hotels!

yeh so it was a twenty minute walk back to our hostel, in which we decided that we wanted to stay a few days longer! we checked and they said it was ok! woohoo so we´ll spend thursday night in a hostel in central lima, then we join the tour on friday!
