well morning all!!! lol we have safely arrived in South America and we´re KNACKERED! Currently we´re in the point hostel in Barranco, its 6am and we have no where to sleep because people we fast asleep in the dorms-pschtt!!

anyways lauras in a mood lol cos shes so tired lol and very annoyed due to this slightly, well, annoying situation! lol!

we havent done anything as yet, apart from spend loadds of time on flights and in airports! Fairplay the miami flight was awsome' free drinks, free alcohol, lots of food and comfy to sleep on....compared to the lima flight in which we sat in upright seats, no head rests and no drinks. i guess i´ll look back on this and laugh at how miniscule that issue was compared to the inevetible problems we´re going to face!

anyways, after about 3/4 hours kip, we got up, had some brekkie and headed for the local shops, little dingey things lol that sold an array of goods that we couldnt read due to being in Spanish!

We then decided to head to the beach (and got a bit lost) but we saw a bloke from our hostel and he pointed out the correct way! its made here in lima, theres such a contrast in the buildings and houses; mansions painted yellow and red, modern white apartments with wood and chrome accents, little woodens shacks and walls with graffiti everywhere! Alot are painted random colors, even one of the churches-red, purple, yellow, blue! all with the contrasting green of palms, trees, bushes and the sun shining on them.

we eventually made it to the beach, after a nice walk down through an interesting looking part of Barranco. I cant describe what its like...but it gives you an undescribable feeling...along with most things on this trip so far!

Yeh the beach was nice, except the flippin locals trying to sell us necklaces, so being good at my spanish an all (haha) i told them "no gracias" sooooo many times!!

anyhoo i better dash, people are wanting to use the net! woooo free internets fab lol!!
