Day 329 (Wednesday 29th October 08)
Luckily a reasonably undisturbed night. Drove straight to Cape Otway and were lucky enough to see a few Koalas on the way. One was on the ground and we saw it climb quickly back into it's tree which was awesome. Got to the lighthouse but not open til 9am so had a hot drink and something to eat while we waited for it to open. Once it was open had a look at the price and it was 15 bucks each so decided it was a bit expensive and drove back to The Great Ocean Road spotting the Koalas on the way. After a couple of lookouts we were soon at the 12 apostles which were amazing. Parked in the car park and walked across and around the lookouts, great view. Once we were done here we went onto Lord Ard Gorge where there was more of the amazing coastline and a lot more walking. Had a look at the blowhole and Thunder Cave. Stopped in Port Campbell to cook up some lunch. On our way again along The Great Ocean Road we stopped at The Arch, The broken London Bridge and The Grotto. Made a quick stop in Petersborough for the toilet and found they had showers! Couldn't believe our luck and really needed one! Freezing cold but clean again! The last 2 stops were the Bay of Martyr and the Bay of Islands and we were soon in Warrnambool. Wanted to use the internet to upload our photos and noticed McDonalds had wireless so stopped there! Once we were finished found somewhere to stay for the night.
