We started the day at King whatever’s tomb - died in 192... and spent the 9 years he was in power designing his tomb. Actually it was good but no where near as good as the rest of the day.
We then got lost going up the coast and went the wrong side of the Shrimp farms - it was brilliant. The reflections were out of this world. We then went through a rural area that really liked worshipping their ancestors. We went past monument after monument, each one for one family. All were very highly decorated and very well maintained.
After lunch we hit the DMZ - demilitarized zone - and went to the war monument. We then went to a village where they had built tunnels that were large enough for all the inhabitants to live in. Sadly they were needed as the entire village was destroyed by the Americans in 1968 to 72.
