I feel like I have been travelling for months. I have been soo far and done so much. It has been amazing to realise some of these people still live like this. I have had a guide with me ,Fitretu, and it has generally been a positive experience. I am sure I could have found accomodation, maybe not the same but similar. The accomodation was always good. Not always with my own bathroom but I can live with that here and there. The ones that did have bathroom ALL had dripping tap, all claimed hot water and non did and some didn't have enough water to qualify as a shower it was a trickle. The best shower I had was the Luke warm outside shower at Omorate. The transport links would have been a little harder. I spent 6 days on some of the roughest dirt roads I have been on. I was on a bus almost every day, some days 2 or 3, and Fitretu always made sure I got a good seat.
The tribes are amazing. To think people still live like that in this century. Good luck to them if that is what they want I hope ,they can keep it up.
I am still torn about taking photos of the kids. I think send them to school to get an education then they can decide what options they want to persue. Us tourists have to take some of the blame, running around handing out 5ers like they are going out of style. Also the guide need to answer to some of it. Everyone I had said have you got a pocket full of small bills. There must be a better way?

Ape Glad your enjoying your travels although, the hit and miss shower situation sounds grim. Xx
