Went to the green lake (Tiki Tapu) this morning and got a little bit lost as we couldnt find the bus again!! We went to the Lady Knox geyser in Rotorua and waited for it to explode, it was immense and so high but very very stinky! I nearly vomited from the sulphur at the mud pools.

Then we realised that we're off to the south island in a few days and we dont own anything waterproof. Apparently it rains a lot there, so we have a plastic emergency poncho ready!

We drove south to Taupo which is next to Lake Taupo which is bigger than Singapore (I dont actually know how big Singapore is, but I assume its huge?) I couldnt see the other side of the lake anyway!!!

In Taupo we found Mulligans bar where we drank the yummiest Speights beer (i think it was speights) and the owner, Louie offered to play rock paper scissors each round to help us win money off our drinks. Each round we made him promise to pose for photos in a stupid hat, for some reason they have loads of different random hats on each tap???
