We were up nice and early for the Wellington to Picton ferry ride. Johno started the day well by being accosted by some angry chinese girl. The ferry ride on the Interislander was atrocious. The cook strait was so windy we were being bounced around all morning. It took 3 hours and I managed to sleep for most of it. When we got to Picton we realised that the angry chinese girl was on our bus!! Worst luck!

We were driving for a few hours to get to Nelson and stopped at the Pelorus bridge, which was a really pretty area. But the bridge shakes when cars drive across it as me and Johno found out when a truck races over and we're left shaking and clinging on! When we got to Nelson we had a wander around and the town and walked through the Queens gardens and saw the cathedral. We walked up one of the hills to the center of New Zealand and the views were so pretty.

After all that hard work we decided we deserved a beer, so we walked to this out of town pub (only one we could find anyway) that sells local brews. The idiot behind the bar ID'd us!!! Of course my ID is in Sydney with my purse and I'm not going to carry around my purse ready for losing! I'm 23 damnit!
