Hi guys, well we are really enjoying Darwin and getting use to and enjoying these 30 + deg days. Have not done too much apart from driving about and buying essential supplies (prawns and wine etc.) and chilling out. The neighbours joined us for drinkies and nibbles last night under our awning where we spend most nights enjoying the cooler 24 deg temp swapping travel stories till 9pm. They live in their caravan full time and love it which has us wondering, could we do it ??????
Darwin is really nice with lots to see and do which will keep us here for longer than we planned. I went to the V8 Super Cars today, Sunday by myself and with a free bus picking you up and bring you back to the gate it was a offer too good to turn down. The track at Hidden Valley was really well laid out with most viewing areas under canvas shades and good seating.The Aussies certainly know how to lay it on with live displays from attack helicopters to bikes and cars doing burn outs and stunts.If the cars did not entertain you the racing teams pretty girls did.
Another very enjoyable day in this easy living tropical paradise.
