There is a bit of a story about Mike who is in this photo. When we were in Broken Hill a while back, a couple from Perth invited us to join them around their campfire. We got to talking about different sights we had seen on the road including cyclists and one nan walking. They said a person they knew called Mike walks around Australia with a special three wheel cart. He has osteoarthritis and walks to raise funds and was doing a walk at the moment and if you see anyone like that stop and give them a bottle of cold water as that is like gold to them. Well buggar me we were driving along the other day in the middle of absolutely nowhere in 30deg temperatures when we see someone fitting that description. Stop I yelled to Chris that might be that guy we heard about and Chris stops and goes across the road with a bottle of cold water. Sure enough it was him so they had a chat and Chris got his photo taken with the cart as well. The cart weighs 80kg and he walks around 30kms per day.
And they say it's a small world, to damn true it is!!!!!!!!
