Today was my last day with that Stray bus! We left at 9.30 after the others got back from swimming with dolphins. The bus was still pretty packed but I managed two seat so it wasn't so bad. It was really funny going along the same route again though - having a different driver explaining the landscapes and stuff! I recognised loads of the scenery too, it really reminded me of the last time I had done it! We stopped at the same place for lunch as we had before, so I went across the road to a different cafe for a bit of variety and met Jess while I was there (an English girl from the bus) so we had lunch together sitting in the sun which was really nice! After that we were back on the bus and arrived at Picton around 12.30. Nearly everyone got off the bus to go south and there was about 8 of us left catching the ferry. After a quick stop at the hostel/bakery we went to check in at the Ferry terminal to go to the North Island!

The ferry was pretty busy which was a bit rubbish. The journey felt reallly long - it was about 3 hours and I was very restless. The scenery was pretty nice at the start but I couldn't really be bothered taking photos haha. When we finally arrived I said goodbye to Christie which was sad - I'd got really used to having her around! It was nice that I actually knew people in Wellington that I'd met on my first bus though! We got picked up from the ferry by Horse - my 1st bus driver from the south island!

I got dropped at Nomads but had arranged to stay at Tommy's flat to save some money so he was meeting me there. While I was waiting I met Michael which was awesome! They are both staying in Wellington looking for jobs. There was a "free dinner" (slice of pizza) in the hostel and Mike lent me his key so I could get it too :). I sat an chatted to him and his friends - Charlie, Tiffany, Dermot and Nick - who were really nice! Eventually Tommy turned up and we walked to his flat which was about 15-20 minutes from the centre which is handy enough!

We dumped my stuff and I got changed etc and had a drink and then headed back into town to meet the guys I had met earlier. We stayed in the hostel bar for ages playing pool as the drinks were fairly cheap. I met another girl there called Elouise who was really nice! After a bit Mike, Tommy, Elouise, Nick and I went to an Irish bar called Molly Malones where there was a live band which was nice, then we went to another bar a few doors down for a dance! Had a really good wee night :)
