Up very early this morning to jump on my new bus heading south! It was packed but managed to get 2 seats to myself which was nice.
Bus journey wasn't that exciting really. Not sure what to think of the new bus driver, Chase, she's a little bit crazy haha. We stopped at a supermarket for lunch and grabbed some milk - back on the weetbix diet haha - and got some sushi for lunch which was awesome!! So cheap as well. Sarah, Annie and I ended up sharing some mini donuts as well which were really good! After that we were back on the bus for about an hour to get to Hahei.
We arrived, staying at a campsite type thing again, dumped our stuff and got ready to go kayaking to Cathedral Cove! There was only 8 of us doing it which was kind of nice. It was really awesome, we were out for a good few hours, the waves were pretty big though - not too big to tip us out but enough to scare us a bit haha! We stopped at the beach at Cathedral cove and our guide set up his coffee shop and made some really crazily professional coffees and hot chocolates for someone sitting on a beach haha - it was one of the nicest hot chocolates I've ever had! So good. After that and munching a few biscuits we headed on back to shore.
I went back and had a quick shower and got changed then went for a quick run. I didn't get hugely far but going to try and build myself up as it's been a while now haha. When it got dark I headed back to have another shower and eat some dinner before the group got back from the beach for their group dinner. Their food looked so good!
We all chilled and had a few ciders chatting for a bit. Saw some not so lovely pictures of Karen castrating a sheep with her teeth when she was working in Australia - seriously gross haha. At 10 they asked us to quiet down and it was freezing so we just headed to bed!
