Happy easter!

Today I was officially crossing over myself back to Kaikoura!

We did a quiz on the bus in the morning which helped pass the time, then got to Christchurch and said goodbye to half the bus...and picked up LOADS more people - every seat was taken! A serious amount of Americans too, they were all studying in Auckland and it's the holidays apparently.

We headed on through to Kaikoura, stopping for lunch along the way. When we got there I met a guy who had just joined the bus called Colm who was from Belfast! So weird hearing a proper home accent haha, think he's actually the first person I've met who's actually from Belfast! Had a good chat to him in the mammoth queue to check in which I'd got stuck at the back of - he's living in Auckland at the minute but travelling the south island for the month.

Christie had managed to get my name down for her room which was awesome! We had a really nice room with ensuite and no bunk beds! Also kind of nice to have all girls lol.

I had a shower and then found a piano which was very exciting!! Haha. Christie came and got me off it when she was finished on the Internet and we went for a wander. We really fancied a cider but had no luck as it was Easter sunday! So we had our free soup and bought some sushi to share which was nice. Then we were back to the hostel.

I played the piano till someone put a video on and then watched most of Erin brokovich before the video cut out. I played the piano for a bit more, then went to the bar with two of the German girls and we had a nice non-alcoholic drink haha. Then I gave up as there really wasn't much to do and the videos people were watching were rubbish! Went to the room and did a few situps and stuff as it had been a while since I did any exercise! Then was off to bed.
