Donna's World
Today travelled to Sangkhlaburi.
On the way visited the Hell Fire Pass - a railway built in World War 2, mainly by POWs. The railway was 415km from Thailand to Burma, and took 15 months to construct. It's nicknamed the Death Railway as famed for the number of people that died during construction.
Arrived in Sangkhlaburi this afternoon.
Oh no...where have I been taken too!! There are lizards and cockroaches in the hotel room, the town is a deserted, apart from the many stray dog, shoulders to be covered and no short shorts (until 7pm), and one of the two bars is shut!
