Amazing day at the Tiger Temple today. Got to walk, stroke and have photos taken with adult tigers. In the afternoon got to play with and feed four baby tiger cubs! They were adorable... Even though one took a bite at the top of my leg!! They have other animals too - deer, lion, bear, pony, boar, buffalo, and peacocks! Temple, temple and one more temple visited today! The first temple, had hundreds of steps to climb!! I learnt how to greet Buddha when you begin praying, and took part in a service - lighting candles, inscent sticks, giving flowers and sticking gold leafs to a Buddha. The second temple had a cable car to take you to the top (much better!!). The third temple I learnt how to meditate. Practiced walking and sitting meditation.

Tried my luck at a bit of Thai cooking today. I cooked Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Fried Noodles and Prawn Tom Kum Soup. Cooking was out in the open air on the dock on the river Kwai. Basically just add all the ingredients into a wok and fry it, and it all tasted good actually!! In the afternoon took a boat trip to the Jeath War Museum, Chungkai War Cemetry, and walked across the bridge over the river Kwai. It was quite emotional learning about POW. In the evenin...

Visited Erawan waterfalls in Erawan Narional Park today. There are seven tiers of waterfalls, each with fresh water pools which you can swim in. Although there are a lot of fish that nibble your feet and knees! I swam in tiers seven and four - tier four had a rock slide to go into the waterfall - such fun!!

Left Bangkok and travelled Kanchanaburi today! Wow this hotel (Baan Huan Fon) is amazing...we are on the riverside of the river Kwai and there is a pool!! Spent the afternoon just lazying in the pool.
