Travelled for 12 hours today to get to Phuket, only to be told Patong (where staying in Phuket) has been evacuated due to the tsunami warning! We can not go to Patong, and have to stay in Phuket Town (Oasis Guesthouse). There is nobody here as everyone has gone to higher grounds!! Scared and in a deserted town!!

Tsunami warning has been dropped and now safe to continue travels to Patong!
Staying in Relax Guesthouse!
Arrive in Patong and it is the start of Songkran! Got myself a water-gun and now I am ready for the water fighting!!
Day and night of water fighting, along with white flour being put on your face and being kissed by locals!! Madness but such fun!!

Another day and night of mad water fighting...I don't mind the warm water being thrown at me, but the buckets of ice cold water are not nice!! Loving Songkran though!!
