Started the trip to Ko Pha Ngan today. It's going to take about 24 hours to get there!! Stopped off at the hot springs for a dip on route.

Went for a walk over the longest bridge in Thailand today, then visited a couple more temples. In the second temple, the monk was throwing Buddha beads out. I sat down ready to have mine thrown at me, and accidentally got involved in a families service. Had to sit and wait next to them whilst they prayed and gave gifts to the monk!! In the afternoon went bamboo water rafting in the Songgaria River - such fun. Turned into a water fight trying to get everyone off...

26 March 12 Trekking in the jungle today...trekked for about 15k, visiting a couples of caves, and one with bats flying around...but if that wasn't surreal enough spent the night partying with the whole jungle village and village leaders, being supplied Hong Thong and coke, whilst dancing and singing karaoke! Brilliant random night!! 27 March 12 Still in the jungle today, and went on Thai TV as part of a programme/report about volunteers helping the local jung...

Dream House Spent the day at the Dream House today. This is an orphanage for children (mainly from Burma) who are cared for by one lady (Vic). There are about 17 children ranging in age from 2 to 16. The stories of how and why these children are here brings tears to your eyes, but the children are still so happy. Spent the day playing games with the children, having my nails painted and in the afternoon took them swimming in the river. Eye opening and rewardin...

Nature club Day at the nature club, which is a lake with inflatable slide, trampoline, tunnel, sea-sore and kayaks for you to play/swim. There are other activities too, like zip lines, zorbing and quad biking. I did the zorbing, which was a lot of fun. Although I did nearly fall out half way down the hill!!
