Ban Lung was great ! We only spent one full day there but what a day it was !!!

We met an Australian couple Will and Chloe and an English couple Stan and Katie and the 6of us rented out rickity mopeds and headed to a Volcanic Crater Lake!!! This lake is amazing. Named Boeng Yeak Lom, its a 3km circumference lake which is practically a perfect circle and has clear blue water with about 5m visibility. It was believed to have been formed over 700,000 years ago.

We all jumped straight in and the lads were climbing trees and jumping as the local children watched. The children decided it looked like fun , and starting cimbing the tree themselves (got some great photos) and diving in head first!!!

We got back on the bikes and visted two waterfalls-the 2nd one you could climb behind the waterfall! Pretty cool

The roads were really dusty and we all got absoloutly covered! (Looked like orange fake tan!!!) But luckily we were prepared and all had scarves covering our mouths (we looked like we were about to rob a bank)

I can still taste the dust ....

The town was lovely ! Dom kept saying it was like The Wild West! The local kids kept shouting "hello" to us as we rode by and waving frantically ! They really are fascinated by us white folk
