Beautiful day in Rome for a walk. Tom and I toured the streets around the Forum and Colleseum today. We walked around for 5 hours still not seeing everything. Visiting the Museum we entered a church with guards at the door and the end of a memorial service for a deceased Cardinal. The music from the church pipe organ was mesmerizing. Once again we see a very ornate and extravagant church that would rival the churches in Paris. We are staying in Trastevere on the west bank of the Tiber, south of the Vatican City which is a very quaint area. Off to dinner, chat later!
