Made it to Amiens this morning and wandered around the town. Our crew were happy to find a market happening and enjoyed doing some shopping. Came into Albert mid afternoon to the Poppies School Hotel, which is pretty good. No double bunks for us!! Went for a walk to Corner's Pub for dinner and walked further afterwards. Bought the kids some ice-creams after and found some spherical bollards outside - the perfect place for some statues!! Such a pretty little town and we are here for 6 nights. Great staff room, complete with pool table etc. It will be a fabo week ahead! Xx
