When we left Franz Josef we drove to lake Matheson which is famous for it perfect reflection on MT cook and the southern alps in the lake. however when we got there despite it being a really clear, cold morning the reflection wasnt that good. you could see Mt cook in the distance and the fox glacier though. THen we drove down the west coast with the sea one side and the mountains the other. it was a really nice clear day and the views and scenary here was awesome. AFter stopping in Haast for lunch we then headed in land towards Wanaka. The scenary turned more rugged and but still surrounded my mountains all the time. Wanaka a town which relies on the winter ski season. its a beautiful place and the sunset here was really colourful and beautiful setting over the lake and mountians. in the morining we stopped at puzzle world where there are some cool illusion rooms and hard maze. this was fun to do. then we headed to quuenstown
