Today we had an early start to begin our 3 day tour to Sydney. We travelled southeast of Melbourne through pastoral South Gippsland and then we arrived at mainland Australia's most southern point - Wilsons Promontory National Park. This morning we visited Otway Fly Tree Top Walk. as the name suggests we were up in the tree tops on a walkway in a rainforest. We were 25 meters high at some points and had great views onto the forest floor. Dan wasn't to keen on the height but Donna was jumping up and down to make the walkway rock! This morning the group was up early for a morning hike. We hiked up through the Grand Canyon (Australia's version!) right up to the Pinnacle. It was a tough walk but well worth it with the amazing views from the top, and the sun coming through the clouds. Coming down the steep incline was worse than going up! Today was the earliest we have got up in a month, so a 5:30am start was very hard! We headed from the state of South Austraila towards the state of Victoria. Our first stop was to see some white Kangaroos, which are in fact not albino, but just a rarety which are in fact bred for the purpose of attracting tourists.
