Today was our last working day at Warrawong. Over the past week Donna has been doing lots of the manual work and walks as Dan's foot is still badly bruised and sore. Instead, he has been helping out in the cafe, rolling cutlery, folding napkins and also helping cut up the fresh food for the smaller creatures. We arrived at Warrawong Sanctuary on Thursday afternoon. After meeting everyone and doing the necessary paperwork we walked around the 35 acre grounds and saw the wildlife found here. We fed the Wallabies, Kangaroos, ducks and swans and we even spotted a few Koalas high up in the trees. The rest of the afternoon was spent settling in.
