It was an early start today as we left the hotel at 7am to head back to Bangkok. The early hours of this morning was the Black Moon Party. On the island of Koh Pha Ngan, they celebrate the different stages of the lunar cycle with a party (in other words, it's an excuse to get drunk and party!) with parties for the Full, Half and Black moons. We have been relaxing here at the resort for the last few days and last night we went to watch footy in Haad Rin, the main town on the island. Today we have left Sanklaburi behind and have travelled down to the island of Koh Pha Ngan. We will certainly miss the little place; the school, the children, Jack (the Real Gap Dog who used to follow us to school every day) and the beautiful backdrop. We can certainly see us going back one day - maybe to volunteer in the children's home. We are still enjoying the teaching and can't believe that we have been been doing it a week already. One of the kindergarten groups we taught numbers to on Friday repeated them back to us yesterday. A very proud moment to think that they have actually learnt and remembered what we had taught them.
