On Monday (7th) David and I took a day trip to the Mekong Delta where we spent several hours on the water in various size boats! It was interesting to visit the delta area as we spent 2 days cruising the Mekong in Laos - this was very different. Today we visited the Cu Chi Tunnels used by the Viet Cong in the war We had a very informative visit and went right down in the tunnels which they've had to make larger for Western tourists! Later we had a very sobering visit to the Remnants of War Museum in Saigon. Tomorrow we leave Vietnam and enter Cambodia. As you may notice from the picture we have gained another 5 travellers - 2 more Aussies and 3 from Columbia. Dan leaves us tomorrow heading for Bejing.
