Canada 2nd - 17th September 2009 The Hills' Round the World Trip ended in April 2008, but the Hills' desire to travel goes on.There's one destination in particular that we missed due to our grandson's arrival.So in September 2009 we flew to Seattle to set off on a Footloose camping trip in the Canadian Rockies.We spent the first night in a hotel and the next 13 in campgrounds in the National Parks, where we had to be mindful of wild animals such as bears, horses...

Home again - the end of our world trip.......... or is it?

18th - 25th April We flew to Phuket to enjoy a week of sun, sea, sand and relaxation before returning home. We managed to drag ourselves away from our beach resort yesterday to spend a day cruising around the islands in Phang Nga Bay, including James Bond Island! What a great way to end our trip.

On Monday 14th we made the four hour drive to the Thai border on the road which is "under construction"! The road improved dramatically after crossing the border! On Tuesday 15th we went to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market where we went around the stalls by canoe.
