10th to 11th March 2008 We arrived at Butterworth in the dark and headed straight for the ferry to Penang Island where we joined the locals going to work. We then took a local bus to our hotel. 8th to 9th March 2008 Early on Saturday 8th we began our train journey to Kuala Lumpur. This was an interesting experience, travelling with the local people, passing through mile upon mile of oil palm trees with the occasional town/village in between.
