From -30 we reached Toronto which had hardly any snow compared to what we've been used to for the last few weeks, it even reached 2 degrees one day - its almost like summer!
Danny's family have been very accomodating to us looking after us well and giving tips on ideas of what to do.
Some of our plans had to change because its pretty inaccessable without a car (we were planning on going to a national park called Algonquin but sadly the hostel told us it really wasn't worth going!) Instead we have seen the sights around the city, ferry across to the islands, chinatown, Kensington Market, ice skating and had a look at the CN tower from the outside - we are sure the views are amazing but at $33 we gave it a miss and generally had a good walk around.
We also decided to take the greyhound to Niagara Falls, the falls themselves were pretty awesome especially as they were slightly frozen, but still flowing although looked small in comparison to Victoria falls. Niagara is very geared up for tourists but was well worth the visit.
The highlight was the Basketball game, Toronto Raptors won and we had awesome seats thanks to Danny's cousin. Plus we are all proud owners of some cool Raptors hats!
We are having a little ski tomorrow - then Dave and I are off to Calgary while Dan stays with his family for a little longer. x
