Travelled on today to our next base at Waitomo. On route we spent a good amount of our time at the movie set for Hobbiton, the village in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit books and films in which Frodo and Bilbo Baggins lived. As long time fans of Tolkien's work, and of Peter Jackson's films, it was such a treat to be able to walk around this place.
