So our time in Mexico is at an end, here are our observations: 1) Mexicans are super friendly, love to stay out late just sitting in the town squares, just kinda sitting there watching the world go by, which is nice to see - I guess the weather helps in this case 2) The food is amazing, we will try and make you some of the food we have tried when we return. As those of you who have been travelling for an extensive amount of time, you can´t go to restaurants everyday and before you know it you are cooking away your own food and become rather domesticated. I think we have see more Iguanas in the last week than all our previous years combined. They are everywhere, hanging out along the paths, in the grass, up the walls, all over the place. Sometimes you have to negotiate three or four in a row, they don´t seem to be the least bit concerned with humans and stand their ground. So here we are in the Quintana Roo town of Tulum. It is a fairly small place that is famous for its Maya ruins off the Caribbean coast. We checked into a b&b called ´mamas house´ which is really nice, mama is very friendly and is looking after us well (they are doing us a bbq tomorrow night!) After a 6:30am dash from our cabaña to the Isla Holbox ferry we arrived back on the mainland at 8am and then jumped on a bus to our next stop in Tulum, some 300+ km away south. This commences our journey south, which from this point will continue roughly in this direction until we run out of land in Chile.
