Drove down and stayed with my sister to be nearer to the airport for our 7am flight in the morning.

Got off the ship at about 9.30 and everything went smoothly. Taxi to airport. Luggage was about 2kg over but we got away with it. Flight left on time and landed early. Paul was working till 4pm but met us off the airport bus at Ferry Toll (Inverkeithing). We would have had to wait 3 hours for the bus we'd booked to Perth as it was a Sunday service so that was great. We were home and watching the f1 on bbc I-player by 6pm. Tired though so off to bed now...

Lot of time today spent packing but managed to squeeze in a quoits win for George and his partner in the morning and one for me and my partner in the afternoon. I let my partner down at shuffleboard though as I managed to score two -10s. Fortunately my partner scored one too so I didn't feel so bad. So far this morning have just relaxed. Not warm enough yet to sit outside so have just continued doing nothing much. This afternoon need to be spent making ourselves beautiful for the first formal night. At our age that takes a lot of time- thought I'd better say it first before someone else does. Quiet day today inside the ship but it is blowing a force 8 gale outside. The sea is very choppy as a result. Feels as if we are going over potholes ( that is not a misspelling for portholes). Just did lots of eating, exploring and shopping. A lot of people were feeling unwell and have decided to stay in their rooms. Thank goodness for our sea bands. We had a late lunch which we finished as they were setting up afternoon tea so we selected some fine pieces....
