City Tour of Vienna this morning. Started with a bus tour followed by walk about. This afternoon went to the spa and relaxed because it had been a hot tiring day. Some people went to the opera or a concert. Didn't leave Vienna till about midnight.

Woke up in time for an early breakfast today as there was an excursion at 8.15 to Melk monastery which is still used by Benedictine monks. It is also a school for 900 children part funded by the government. There are three of the present monks teaching there plus lots of lay teachers provided by the government. Interesting building. As the monks are still living there they are trying to keep some of the old but have also commissioned some modern art to show...
