Drove to Susan and Stewart's where they'd kindly said we could leave our car. Susan had prepared a lovely lunch and after a few glasses of wine for us (not Susan) Susan drove us to the Cruise terminal. Lovely cabin. After a really quick embarkation we had afternoon tea. After that it was time for Lifeboat drill. It was 15 minutes late starting and folk on first sitting were getting worried about dinner. For the first time ever we also practiced going to the lifeboat stations. No one had ever practiced that before. I suspect there was a delay with dinner and rather than having passengers complaining they used this drill to fill in time. Then we got unpacked in plenty time before second sitting. After dinner, with the first bottle of wine from our wine package, we had a walk round and found a little bar that we liked. Bought the beer and cocktail packages and had our first Mai Tai and Guiness Then off to bed.
