A big day today with beautiful weather to top it off!

We headed to the rock this morning and went to the cultural centre first. This was great and talked a lot about the aboriginal community taking over the land rights of the area. The room was filled with painting on the walls which were really impressive. We left thee and headed to the base of the rock. There were only a few people climbing it today, as it is really frowned spin to climb it now. The kids were really disappointed as they really wanted to climb it. We went fords walk around the base which was good. We will do a guided tour of it tomorrow ass we missed that this morning. The walk was lovely although the flies were unbelievable. ( and really annoying)

After our walk we then left and went to the Olga's which were also amazing. We did the gorge walk and it was so lovely and cool in the shade, with a few less flies there too. We had a picnic lunch there and then after our walk made our way back to the caravan. The kids were exhausted after their walking, but their second wind kicked in and they played in the park all the afternoon. I went for another walk which was lovely, although it felt warmer than 24. Overall a busy day.

Highlight of the day.....learning about the aboriginal culture and why this land is so important to them.
