We arrived at Ayers Rock today..yippee the kids were so excited. We left Coober Pedy yesterday and drove 660 km to Curtin springs......happy Mother's Day with 7 hrs in the car. All things considered the kids were good, although were absolutely bouncing off the wall when we arrived about 1630. Let them run around like ferrals then put them to bed. Free camped last. It was quite a cute little place, but we had no reception at all so no blogging! Had a lovely breaky this morning with pancakes and eggs and then took off just an hr drive to get to the rock.

We explored a bit this afternoon and then later went into watch an aboriginal dance. The kids were hysterical and went up and participated which was great. Lots of people around this afternoon, and actually a few our age which is surprising.
Heading to the rock to or row and hopefully a bit of walking involved, I feel like I need it. A beautiful 24 degrees today and same for tomorrow which is perfect. Offered the kids a swim this afternoon but they declined. The pool was too cold....Hee Hee!
