Spent 3 days here at Uluru. It really is breathtaking and much better than I remembered through my childhood eyes!!! We did the Mala walk with the kids, it was so windy that you couldn't have climbed the rock even if you wanted to. Have been walking seen the most amazing sunsets on the rock, went to the pioneer outback hotel for a few quiet moments in a the afternoon, and then left today for Alice springs.

I absolutely over Uluru and would most definitely come back here again. The Olga's and the gorge walk there were fantastic too, although we have realised that with the walking, kings Canyon is going to be too much for Nyah so we gave it a miss. Alice springs is exactly as I remembered it was! lots of indigenous people around! and the campground gets locked done at night. Took the kids to the reptile part this afternoon and they held a snake and lizards and absolutely loved it

Highlight of the day......the kids holding the 8 kg snake at the reptile park, so very brave and so very excited!!!
