A big day today with beautiful weather to top it off! We headed to the rock this morning and went to the cultural centre first. This was great and talked a lot about the aboriginal community taking over the land rights of the area. The room was filled with painting on the walls which were really impressive. We arrived at Ayers Rock today..yippee the kids were so excited. We left Coober Pedy yesterday and drove 660 km to Curtin springs......happy Mother's Day with 7 hrs in the car. All things considered the kids were good, although were absolutely bouncing off the wall when we arrived about 1630. Let them run around like ferrals then put them to bed. Free camped last.
