Went out for a drive to Silverton today, a little historical town where Mad Max was filmed. This is the most adorable little town I have seen. Went to the Silverton mine for a tour where I discovered I am so like mum......couldn't do the underground tour of the mine as I was too claustrophobic!! I told Mick I couldn't do it but he insisted I would be fine. Anyway when it came time to walk down I just walked right back out again. The kids were very entertained!...

Left Mildura this morning and headed to Broken Hill. A shorter trip in the car which was great for the kids. Arrived at Broken Hill to a balmy 26 degrees, and set up camp at The racecourse in Broken Hill. Spent the rest of the afternoon setting up camp and chatting with the other campers.
