Ozintro Day 7 - Farewell Dinner at the top of the Sky Tower

We spent most of today on the beach. It was nice cos it was the first time I've properly sunbathed since I've been here. It was a nice chilled out day just lying on the beach - I think everyone was getting over their hangovers from the pub crawl last night.

Tonight was the last part of the Ozintro week - an all-you-can-eat dinner at the top of the Sky tower in the middle of Sydney. The restaurant goes all the way round the top of the tower and the bit where you sit actually revolves slowly while you are eating. So you can see the whole of Sydney from above while you are having your dinner. It was a really good view to see Sydney at night, but it meant i couldn't get any photos because it was so dark. I think it'd be nice to go up there during the day because you'd be able to see more. The food itself was lots of different kinds, and i managed to find myself enough pasta options that i actually ate a plateful - then i got my money's worth on desserts!

After the meal, we took a detour on the way home to the lookout point in the botanical gardens, across the harbour from the opera house and bridge, where we went on our first day. It was a nice moment to go back to the place that 'Team Lunge' began, and have photos of us all together for one last time. And I'm glad i got to see the harbour at night because it was beautiful when it was all lit up against a dark sky. It was the perfect ending to a brilliant week!
