Ozintro Day 3 - Surfing

Today didn't really start well. A few of us got to the beach before the others, so we all ran into the sea together. We were messing about and Dan was on about playing the game where u get on peoples shoulders etc, so i tried to jump onto his shoulders and fell off. When i came back up from under the water, my sunglasses (60 quid prescription ones!) were no longer on my head. I had everyone looking for them but we didn't find them so i was blind for the next couple of hours, including the surfing lesson. I ended up with a really small narrow board, which i couldn't even balance on lying down, let alone standing up! So i waited around to get a good one, then on my first go i fell off and hurt my back - not my day! I had another go later on (after finding my actual glasses in my bag which i didn't know were there) and was still a bit rubbish at it, so i think i'm gonna have another go sometime when i'm having a bit more luck and feeling a bit more confident about it all. Danni is not a surfer! Still had a good afternoon though playing frisbee and a kind of volleyball thing in the sea. AND i'm on my way to getting a tan cos i've burnt myself slightly today cos of being in and out of the water all day (i am being careful though i promise!).

I haven't done anything with my evening cos i've spent the whole thing typing up these blogs! A lot of people are a bit tired though cos of all the surfing and swimming today, so we're having a bit of an early night.
