Ozintro Day 2 - Darling Harbour and Sydney Aquarium
We started the day doing boring important stuff like sorting out our bank accounts and taking our details to the medical place and the place where we can get help with finding work. I got beaten up by a lift! Typical me, i was ambling into the lift after everyone else and the door shut and whacked me on the shoulder, nearly knocking me over. I'm ok now though, in case you were worried.
After the boring stuff we took a ferry through the harbour (and we all got snap-happy again) to Darling Harbour. We had a bit of lunch and then went into Sydney Aquarium. I didn't think i'd be that interested cos it was just a bunch of fish, but i got kinda swept along with it all and got all excited trying to take pictures of turtles, sharks and characters from Finding Nemo (i found him by the way!). Oh and my new favourite sea-dweller, the Wobbegong! It's a really ugly looking thing, that looks like it would camoflage really well on the bottom of the ocean, but i just thought it had a good name.
In the evening, most of the two 5th Jan ozintro groups and some of the otheres from the 6th Jan went out to sit on the grass between our hostel and the sea. There was lots of drinking and singing and general getting to know each other. Probably the best night i've had here so far, it was really good laugh. Especially cos one of the girls kept walking round in circles randomly, doing laps of where we were all sitting!
