Magnetic Island is a small island just off Townsville, reached by a short ferry ride. We stayed here for two nights of relaxation, as there wasnt an awful lot to do here. We decided to go to Cape Tribulation deep in the rainforest of Australia, so we could experience something else in OZ other than beaches!! The Daintree rainforest is apparently the oldest rainforest in the world, although not the biggest.
